Enjoy the beautiful Worcestershire countryside at the Arrow Valley Centre only 3 miles from Redditch town centre. If you're a lover of outdoor pursuits you can enjoy a stroll along the woodland trail or the lakeside walks, and even indulge in a spot of fishing in the Centre's peaceful surroundings. To keep the kids busy there are two well-equipped play areas plus a gift shop and café. Entry and parking are free plus a conference room, corporate hospitality, and school bookings are all available.

Redditch's Palace Theatre, located in the town centre, hosts a wide range of productions from plays and musicals to comedies and young people's shows featuring top musicians, actors, dancers, singers and comedians. The Theatre also hosts weekly youth classes, which puts on two shows a year and helps to develop young people's confidence, creativity and communication. Located just outside Redditch town centre, Bordesley Abbey dates back to the 12th Century. Its Visitor Centre tells the story of the Abbey's history and displays the site's various archaeological discoveries. There are fun educational activities for kids to learn about the Cistercian monks who built and worked the Abbey, see a medieval cog wheel and timbers from the Abbey mill, see a 15th century human skeleton, and even hear the story of the Black Dog - the ghost of Bordesley Abbey!

Redditch is home to the British needle making industry and the Forge Mill Needle Museum tells the industry's story. The Museum includes an authentic needle-scouring mill where needles were polished from 1730 until 1958. Children can learn how needles are made and even experience the working machinery. The Museum is also a regional centre for textile enthusiasts and holds both exhibitions and workshops attracting textile lovers from across the UK.
